    Low carb protein muffins

On Oct 28 2020, our youngest (almost 3 at the time) had her first seizure and went into status epilepticus. This started our Epilepsy journey with her. Over the past 2 years we’ve changed the way we eat. She is on a low glycemic low carb diet so I have researched all of our foods, ditched and switched + cleaned up our diet **Glory to God she’s seizure free- The muffins are so good and easy to make. We love adding chopped strawberries or puréed berries to the batter for extra taste. Ingredients: 2.5 cup fine almond flour .5 cup monkfruit .5 tsp baking powder 1/4 tsp salt 1/3 cup…

Today I am going to share an easy way to bring a little coziness to any space in your home.  We wanted to level up our master bedroom space, keeping our small budget in mind.  Before I dive in too much let me start with a before shot of the space: Since this photo, we’ve space planned a bit, moving our bed center the two large windows.  We Facebook marketplaced this existing bed and traded for an upholstered transitional bed.…

    Master bathroom reveal

. Thank you Vintage tub and bath for sponsoring this post.  The opinions are my own. Our master bathroom is our last room in our home to completely update.  We waited for about 3 years before we renovated our home.  It is a good idea to live in your space for awhile and really think about how you want each space to function as well as budget wise.  Our bathroom doesn’t have a shower, only a large garden tub.  Pretty dreamy if you ask me but my husband needs a shower in our bathroom to make it functional for him.  We chose the same style shower system we installed upstairs…

Diy faux brick walls in master bathroom

.   We just finished a renovation of our master bathroom.  The space didn’t have a master shower just a large garden tub.  We wanted to make the space functional but keep it super budget friendly so we chose a bath and shower system from Vintage Tub & Bath, you can see the transformation here. Ok, let’s start with some good befores of the space: This is the realtor photo from when we bought our home.  We took out this large double vanity. The tile on the wall left damaged Sheetrock so we just installed these faux brick panels. We decided to install the faux brick panels around the tub…

    Paint colors throughout our home

. Our main color is the bright white.  You can use any brand of bright grab and go white just make sure it has primer in it.  Also make sure you get the correct finish for your trim and walls.  The higher the sheen the more durable the paint.  Semi-gloss is what we typically use for trim.  Satin for our walls.  Satin is middle of the road.  If you are using the same white for walls, ceilings, and trim pick a different finish for each and it doesn’t look like the same color.  As for ceilings or low traffic areas, a flat paint works well.   If you are interested in seeing…

General interior and exterior paint color schemes

.. Interior color schemes + Kitchen schemes   Exterior color schemes   *We recommend buying samples of the desired color and painting up against your trim, over your existing wall color and seeing the true color in the natural light. We do not recommend painting poster board or hanging paint swatches on your wall.  You can use these samples for small furniture projects or paint touch ups later. We would love to assist you on choosing your interior or exterior paint colors in your new build or existing home.  Please visit our design menu to schedule a consultation.

    Electric Fireplace before and after!

… *Sponsored by Modern Blaze, the opinions are my own. Ever since buying our home almost 5 years ago, we wanted to add an electric fireplace in our living room.  Adding a fireplace whether electric, gas, or wood burning adds coziness to any space.  We chose the Touchstone Onyx 50″wall mounted electric fireplace from Modern Blaze linked here.  Modern Blaze shared a coupon code for 10% off of this unit.  Use code: SWAG10 . We are not diy people so I wanted a unit that is easy to install as well as a simple aesthetic.  Modern Blaze has several size options as well as all in one units that include the…

Marinated chicken in air fryer and fresh beans

… This meal is a go to easy meal that we eat about once a week.  We try to stay away from anything canned and we love beans so I am sharing how I make our beans from dried packs.  We also love to buy dales seasoning in bulk and we season most meats we cook with dales seasoning. Marinated chicken recipe: **you can also use any type of meat.  Some of our favorites are: Pork chops, ribeye steak, turkey I usually buy this chicken in the bag from Walmart.  It’s a pack of 5 and some of the breasts are large and you can slice them into two breasts…
