Master Bathroom Renovation

This room is my getaway.  I am excited to share the process of our bathroom renovation with you guys!  Our vision for this space is crisp, clean, and a eclectic mix of a few “styles”  We went with the faux shiplap walls to give the vibe of old farmhouse style. I love mixing old with new.  Our style of the look of “shiplap” may be a bit more rustic than what you usually see.  We do not putty over the nail holes, and we don’t stress because our gaps are a bit off.  This gives it so much character and makes it feel like its old and more original.  I have a full tutorial on how we installed our diy faux shiplap in our dining space here .  Hubby did all of the shiplap work, I did the floor.  Stenciling this space was a hug job, but it was so worth it!  We couldn’t be more happy on how it turned out!  More than just sharing beautiful views of our newly renovated bathroom, we are so grateful for this space!

I have to say its fun to diy with your spouse!  It’s a lot of work, but man it makes you appreciate the outcome so much more!  Can you guess what our favorite piece is in our bathroom?  It’s our vintage storage lockers we found off of Facebook Marketplace!  You guys, we paid $40 for this set!  We love the added storage in here!  The product sources are linked below:

••the vanities come standard with chrome hardware.  I simply spray painted these an antique gold finish to match our lighting!  I hope you enjoyed this update!  Are you a DIY’er?
